Just a reminder that our office will be closed during Spring Break (March 19-23). During this time, courses will be available for students to continue working. New registrations will not be processed until the following week.

@KOOL will be closed from December 25th until January 7th. Courses will be available and students can continue to work on their coursework. Students can register for programs and courses; however, applications will not be processed until the week of January 8th. We would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season!!!!

We have recently upgraded Moodle. You will notice that your course pages now look a little different. Although there may be some differences in the appearance of each course, everything should function as it did prior to the upgrade. If you have any issues accessing course materials, please contact our office.

During the summer months we have less staff in our office. This may result in a slight delay in the processing of applications. Please be patient. Thank you!

Courses will be open for the months of July and August; however, teacher support will only be available in July during the district summer school program. Summer school teachers will take over teaching and supporting students in all senior courses on July 3rd. Please note: In August, courses will be available to work on, but teachers will not be available to provide exam passwords or for support. All assignments submitted in August will be marked the first week of September. There will be a short shut down for all courses at the beginning of August for regular maintenance.

The @KOOL office will be closed from March 20, 2017 to April 3, 2017 for Spring Break. All courses will be available for students to access and to work through except for March 20 and 21st as the KOOL Server will be down for some upgrades. New registrations will be delayed and Transcripts and Interim mark requests will be unavailable during Spring Break. Teachers will not be available during this break, therefore there will be no communication or marking during this time.

We will be offering service during the summer months from July 4-July 27th. Teachers will be available for support and to mark submitted assignments during this time. Courses will also be available in August; however, teachers will not be available during this time.

Change in our Calendar

As @KOOL operates as a 10 month school with a typical school calendar, students should be aware that from June 24th, 2016 to September 6th, 2016 no marking of student work will occur. Teachers will not be available for contact or assistance at this time, but the courses will remain open for students to work on and progress through.
Support for Students!

TRU Continuing Studies will be offering our students FREE and FACE TO FACE student support on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-8pm. There will be onsite professors there to help with senior Math, Sciences, and English. This is fantastic opportunity for students who are attending other classes or working during the day! The sessions will be held in the Old Main Room #2551!

If you need to have interim marks sent to a university, please fill out the interim request form found under Student Resources. Interim marks will only be provided for courses in which you have completed at least 50%.

KOOL will be closed from December 18th -January 4th; however, your online courses will still be available. If you are a new student registering with us, applications submitted before December 16th will be processed before the holidays. If you register after this date, your application will not be processed until January 4th. Thank you for your patience.
Data System Shutdown

There will be a My Ed B.C. system shutdown from November 6-12. During this time, you will continue to have access to your KOOL courses; however, we will be unable to process applications or course requests during this shut down. Applications and course requests submitted after November 2nd will not be processed until after November 12th. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. Welcome to our new website and to the 2015/2016 school year. There are some changes to @KOOL this year: Our school is now a 10 month school that will have the same yearly bookends as other district schools. Teacher support will be available from September to June; however, your courses will be available throughout the summer months. Teachers are now embedded into district schools.
